i love the barnet. it has a nice mellow concave but the 3d concave really help lock you in. i love the 3d on it cuz i know where exactly to put my foot for toeside slides. i dont really find the kicks to practical for freestyle though its a pretty heavy board (i have the 9 ply version and i weigh 135-140) its nose is nice for manuals and manual 180s but really isnt meant for freestyle, more for freeride and dh )

Just wondering, any of the rival/supreme owners here dance with your board? I own a barnet as well and I do some cross-stepping on it but, the supreme has caught my attention as well.

I'm just learning some dance on my supreme, it has enough foot space and the concave isn't overly agressive on the drop, I think it's a great board for it!

If I see a vid where someone is dancing on a rival or supreme, I'll be sold.

If you can cross-step on a barnett, you can dance on a supreme, the foot platform is bigger, and there isn't as big of a drop, so you don't end up tripping over the pockets, do videos always make your purchase decisions? lol.

Sometimes. But not loaded videos. They're just fun to watch. I'd never own a loaded though.

So I took the plunge and bought the supreme. I feel just as good as I did when I bought the JB. Concave wasn't as gnarly as I thought it would be and the extra inch and a half gives me so much more freedom for dancing. Zero wheel bite with my setup. 50 calibers and 76mm S9 RaceForms. It also has very little flex considering I'm 5'11 and 230lbs. Loving my quiver. If you are thinking about buying it, don't think. Just buy.

The concave isn't that agressive, but it's enough to keep you on board, especially with vicious. I ride mine with 50 degree randal 180s and abec flashbacks, love it, but I'm thinking of getting a set of 44 calibers to try out.
