on the QEW heading towards TO, as you approach mapleview mall you will se an aqueduct ditch type deal on your right.
It runs pretty long and you can get access to it by fairview/plains rd exit. you'll see it run right up beside the street once you near brant st.

Now i've never actually road on it yet, but from looking at it while driving, if we've had a dry spell it looks like fairly good concrete.

ps- this is sort of out of the niagara region.

that ditch by mapleview is alright....  there is a small channel that runs directly down the middle of the ditch so actually skating it like a "ditch" is not possible.  but when I was there a couple summers ago, we would just push like a mother fucker down one side of the ditch and just carve the wall on the side that we were on.  there are some small drainage holes on the wall about 6ft or 7ft up and they make for a fun challenge to carve around.

if you're into street skating a couple of my friends have set up rails and benches to grind across the channel, so that is an option.

I'll post some pictures of myself and nico riding the ditch, once I get home from work this evening.

 Yeah dude, right on!

park in the maple view mall parking lot.  the ditch runs right by the southern most part of the parking lot, there is a big retaining wall that hides you from people seeing you hop the fence.

and by pool deck, i don't mean a pool deck i can ride, i litterally mean a fucking sitting around deck surrounding my above ground pool. How lame is that for a nice summer week eh.
