Dont try to outrun people if they are stealing your shit, it will probably end with them catching up to you, kicking your ass, and in the worst scenarios, getting stabbed. I see another trend here: a lot of you are having problems when you're alone. Pair up, travel together, try to avoid situations where you're stuck alone with a lot of gear, especially if you're going through areas with lots of problems. I know its not always possible but if its going to save you from getting mugged its definitely worth it
this is a good idea, but regardless of the amount of people your traveling with make sure you are aware of your surroundings, stay close to the front of the bus and tell your travel partners and the driver if you feel threatened. dont get yourself in a position where you can be surrounded with no exit or witnesses. i am in no way stating that one should stand up to these people, it is always a good idea to know how to defend yourself so you can save your life and the ones with you. be aware, think quick, stay on your feet. and dont be intimidated by these goofs, you can outsmart them. If they were smart they wouldnt be Thieving. |

The A takes you right to the pooper and if safety is your concern on the Eglington bus, then the 88 will be a nice change. Nobody but bored rich Leasiders and filipina nannies ride that bus. |

^^ this is it. You groms stick together, exchange numbers for everyone thats close when your in thats area so when something bad happens, if you need it you can call up some back up. I know it well and there are some real bottom-feeders. Do your best to avoid any trouble but do whatever you have to in your situation. I'm not going to fill you with ideas but I've been on that end and would goto great length to never let it happen again. Also seems like your getting picked off on the bus, remember that your board is your advantage over the two legs and use it when you can |
