Seshin up north in 2012

I know there are more than a couple lurkers in this forum from the northern part of our province. The question is where are you guys at, and are any of you interested in tryin' to get some outlaw races goin' or somthing along that lines, maybe just some seshes. I know we are towns apart, but first step is to see who we got to work with.

We've been trying to set up a decent race day in sudbury for a couple seasons. But with 4 guys and no supports from local shops, its rough.

come on up to the soo dudes, we are tryin to get a small event leaque together, with local shop support.
we have a bunch of boarders up here. I started a small session group last year, and it has since grown to over 30 members with around 10 people that come out regularly. With spring on the way I'm expecting more people to start joinin in aswell.

pretty much what we've been talkin about up here is doing a bunch of small events, short races in city/out of town 30min, slalom, 5km push races, freeride by popular vote, that kinda thing.

Sounds great man, Alot of the plannin goes on through FB or in person, but when things are more solid I will message you all for sure, link to the event page and all that jazz, If your ever coming through toss a iine on the group wall and someone will usualy respond within the day.

my bro lives in sudbury and he is usually down to skate I will let him know to check the forums. I head up 2 times a year from london ont. to skate so maybe I will head up when there's some events going on.

Almost race day, sorry to see that it didnt get anymore attention here, not surprised with the majority of people living near the GTA.
We'll be doin this all season at random times, so I'll keep posting 'em.

If you wanna get more interest on this stop posting in the crudbury section, put something up in the general section people from t. Arnt looking in here , cash prizes get attention too! I know its tough especially since your kinda way out there haha no one south really knows the potential, get some footage of proposed roads etc and market it like a legit race.... How would the town feel about road closures

Yeah figure posting in a board other than this one would help, lol. We dont get much for cash prizes, though the local shop tosses in some equipment/gift cards. Our first in town outlaw went pretty good, no problems with traffic/people, everyone had a blast, had a couple guys down from scuds, looking to make it a yearly event(if not at least twice).
