I don't get why people do these lists, there are always people that bail or just show up.

its always good to have a list whether they show or not, what if someone doesn't throw their name on the list or a group of locals want to carpool, i think the lists are more important to the riders going then to the person hosting

That is a great point.

I put a cap on the number of racers because the course won't be able to handle too many people. I know the feeling of driving an hour to get to a race only for it to be shut down by the law because it got too bait. Keeping a list of the number of people attending the race gives me atleast some control. It's all about making sure everyone has a great day!

Does everyone know that April 8th is Easter Sunday?
I actually didn't realize until recently but it's still a good day for me.

Let me know where all of you stand on the race being on easter sunday and if there is an overwhelming request for a change of day, we'll see where to go from there.
