Was wondering whats a good option to replacing my worn down pivot cups. On kahas old site they have khiro ones for sale (i'v checked hogtown and they dont have them havent checked LBL) - anyone know where i can get these? http://www.kahalani.se/index.php?cPath=90_278&language=enSwitchback has these- will they work? http://www.switchbacklongboards.com/shop/index.php?productID=1669I have never gotten replacement pivot cups (trucks usually bend to shit before the cup dies) are they readily available at most shops? Can i just take cups from cast BPs? thanks all

Those would work but I wouldn't waste your money/time You can use tube from a hardware store like home depot, bring in your old pivot cup to match the right size, and cut the tube to the right length. I got the idea from K-Rhymes when he sent me some tube for my Aeras. I think the clear tube with the mesh is actually stronger than regular pivot cups. Works perfectly

Get the braided tubing from Lowes, I got a foot of it just to screw around and it cost me 80 cents. I think the size for Kaha is the same as randals at 3/4OD and 1/2ID.

The Khiro cups are the best ones, and Kaha's are made to fit them.
I am pretty sure you need the large sized ones, the small size is for conventional trucks like Indys. Though check it out for yourself if you have a set of Indys around. The large sized pivot cups fit in Paris plates, so you can check if your Kaha pivot fits if you have a set of Paris'.
Pivot cups wear out like everything else, though I find people tend to really overlook them. They can change how your trucks ride quite a bit. When they get worn out they create a lot of slop in your trucks, though some people like that feeling I guess since it gives your trucks a looser feel. Khiro sells both hard and soft duros for their pivot cups. The difference in duro will also change how your trucks feel as well. Hard tends to feel more precise, and can make your truck feel a little more dead until you break them in, they also wear slower so I usually just use these. Soft is pretty much the opposite, and little more forgiving.
You can try recycling your pivot cups if you need some fast. Though some companies use really shitty cups (Paris) that is essentially plastic.
Edit: Braided tubing is definitely the cheapest. Though it wears FAST compared to a good pivot cup like the Khiro hards which will last for years.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for the insight Chris, will totally be using the hard khiro cups for the kahas. I will also try the braided hose to replace the cups in my cast trucks, sounds cheap and practical for sure. Lu, Ask me nicely and i might look through the warehouse for some Khiro Cups. Im pretty sure i recently ordered multiple sizes.
Woh! McLovin the love right now! PMd good sir'

Ok.
So unfortunatly. I dont have any of the Khiro Ones. I have some for Independants, and Grindkings. The grindking ones look like they may fit, but who knows.
Sorry boys.
