I would steer clear of any bustin board for sliding, they aren't made for that and so perform poorly in that area. The tan tien is also not a very good board for going sideways due to the lack of concave. I would advise you to go for a free ride board from a Canadian company.

Ok I'm going to say what most people are thinking. get a real board. bustin and loaded boards blow hard if you going to anything of real merit on them besides pushing, which you can do on any board. plus they are really over priced. Save some cash and get something you can push on but actually other things on. Check out companies like kebbek rayne comet or even landy.

I have a Nemi but I was looking for a light weight commuter that could also pull off some freeride stuff. Just wondering what everyones opinions were on these two decks. Also the Maestro is $110 new, and the Tan Tien I have a thread going in B/S/T section.

They are made with inferior maple and an even more inferior adhesive. The Bustin team breaks boards often. I've never heard of any team that breaks boards like they do and they rarely hit 30km/hr. Low price for low quality crap.

i am riding a bustin strike that had the back end broken off, so a friend refinished it with a new drop in the back and now it feels better than it was originally, i mean it is more stiff because of the shorter wheelbase and seems like it should be able to handle speeds past 30km/. kind of looks like a mini comishin. the refurb job on this deck made it into something comeletly different than anything offered by bustin. WOOHOO skate what ya got edit: not my bustin, just borrowing it

I'll answer your question with a question; why would you pay hundreds of dollars for kindling?
