Jefferson Forest!

OVERVIEW:

Residential area, little traffic.

Decent runs available for all skill levels. DH (GPS'd 47.9km/h on Shadow Falls Dr., one run yet to be touched), Carve, Slalom, Slide, pretty well anything goes.

One Light North of Yonge/19th Avenue, turn RIGHT (Eastbound) at Jefferson Forest Rd.

The Duck Drop:

Beautiful pavement, varying grades, both tight and wide corners. Fun for the whole family!  Grin

Entrances off of both Ravine Edge, and Shadow Falls Dr.

The Pins:

Again, butter smooth pavement, mellow grade, offers decent practice ground for tighter cornering both toe and heelside. Push in hard and it gets tricky, push in soft and it's a gas.

The Pins are a pathway to a Soccer field on the Southwest corner of Yonge/Jefferson Forest, look for a parking lot on the south side of Jefferson Forest and you can't miss it.

  TRANSIT DIRECTIONS!!!

-From the Finch TTC Station (Northernmost stop on the Yonge Line), head to the "Regional Transit" area.

-Take the VIVA Blue Line "to Newmarket Terminal" (purchase a ticket for these busses at the large Touch Screen automated ticket vendors located on the platform) to 19th/Gamble Rd (located on the bottom left hand corner of the map above). Continue to skate NORTH on Yonge St. to the next 4-way intersection, Jefferson Forest Dr., from there you're on you're own.  Wink

THIS IS THE BEST HILL EVER
i got lots of cuts but

just one tip
when on the duck drop, wear mosquito repellent
it is rediculous there with mosquitos and other bitchen bugs.
but.. yeah
the people are kinda bitchy

GPS'd 47.9km/h on Shadow Falls Dr.

...48.119 km/h nuckas  Hey, fuck you buddai! Hey, fuck you buddai! Hey, fuck you buddai! though i think fizz's fat ass hit 49.9...

haha i play, anywho this has become my favourite spot as of late due to its diversity, you get speed (to a degree for you pros) and you get tight as an asian girl tech paths that are fast as fuck, and you get fun mellow paths to learn stand ups, slide and all that jazz on. All that and if yo call now, we'll include buttery smooth pavement at no extra cost, you just pay the shipping!

seriously though, i love jefferson, dare i say more so than the now infamous newspot??? yezzir!
