Really hope I can make it down for this!

Just do it!

I plan on it, so long as I'm not working. What are some potential dates?

I have an account from "back in the day". Can I be a sysop? Otherwise I can't actually delete pages.

Instead of a group of people sourcing out a company to get ramps from, why not have the racers build their own ramps. You get to ride what you like, plus what everybody else likes.

I actually happened to be there, so I might as well clear this up: The guy who organized the race is also the owner of the company that makes the prefab ramps, so he had every right to use his ramps if he was the one pouring the money into the event. That being said, it was a big bag of fail. I think this version will be way cooler, though I'm sure that the homebuilt ramps might have some kinks of their own to be worked out!

I drilled the hole myself, and yes, it will make the shell less strong. Helmet modifications are always at your own risk, so you have to make the call yourself. I decided that it probably wouldn't affect the strength too much. Just try to place the holes low enough that you don't end up drilling into the foam on the inside of the helmet.

Have a look on ebay. I didn't see anything, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

For the record, the "big" hill at Hidden Valley is not lit. At all.

I hit it once, it was super scary and, in retrospect, a bad idea. The mellow neighbourhood section at the bottom is lit though. I guess with the construction that has been happening in that area they might have put some lights in now.

There's a Tim Hortons on the way from the Waterloo garage to the Death Spiral. Just sayin'.  Yeah dude, right on!

We've got like half a foot of snow here in Winnipeg, so enjoy yourselves and be grateful for what you have!

Heat is what does it. Put it on as well as you can and then pass a lighter over the remaining wrinkles and they'll shrink down. Works like a charm.
