Lu!!! has as great rack made from an old wooden CD rack. He fished the rack out the garbage, and made slots on each side and extended the base by a foot, I believe, so it's stable. I think it holds 5 maybe six decks, including a ripstick, but I won't hod that against him. Tongue

Fuckin right! Market not big enough!? Longboarders outnumber skaters in Burlington. I see more people longboarding and not just highschool kids.

if ure not too sure the price to sell it for take into consideration the amount u bought it for and the depretiation over time plus the ware and tare of the board. Also keep in mind that there are many hustlers out there so u might wanna lower ure price in order for a quicker sale. If it was my item i would say about $80-100.

You also have to take into account that the Hustler with the old graphic has gone down in price. Price of the Hustler with the new graphic is like $165 and the old graphic is, I believe $135, at switchback.com. So $80 to $100 might even be too high for people. But it depends on how good the condition is of the gear.

The glue! I forgot about that. That would have been very bad. Thanks for the heads up guys. And thanks Napes for the heads up about the circumference of the board being different in the bottom than on top.
443  General Category / Board Building & DIY / A question about vacum bags and molds. on: June 01, 2010, 10:39:39 AM
I've been wanting to get into getting the roarrockit kits. My question is about the molds that one would make for the desired shape of the board. Instead of using a styrofoam cutout, couldn't you just use anonther deck as the mold? If I wanted a deck shaped like a ly switch couldn't I just use the board itself as the mold to make the desired shape?

To 101s, Chicken, the director and all involved in the Escarpment Surfer doc at TIFF,  I didn't get a chance to congratulate you all but that was a kickass documentary. It was awesome to see longboarding on the big screen. I really got a feel for the speed, the fun, and all the crazy bails you guys had while filming this. I was especially impressed with all the highspeed shots of all the sliding. As Dave Chappelle would say, "Everything just looks way better in slo-motion." Also the amazing helicopter shot of the Escarpment itself was beautiful. You guys put on a hell of a show!! Courtesy of Zachasaurus  Angry Courtesy of Zachasaurus

Doesn't it seem like I could be watching that commercial during Saturday morning cartoons? I think I've heard that voice before selling some other "awesome new thing."

To the girl I saw at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington last month with the S9 board. I hope you saw me throw down that wicked coleman slide. I was doing it to impress you! Grin

While we're on the topic of zombies, how good are they on rougher, bumpier roads? When I saw them up close, I didn't realize it had so little thane.
