Boardmeeting this year was very special for a few reasons. It was the biggest we have ever done as well as the smoothest running. And something strange happened this year, instead of being a few hundred bucks in the hole we raised money. A lot of money. $2,375.00 to be exact.
This money will be used in the future to help run the site, events and next years boardmeeting. As I am moving to California in December it will be up to the next years organizer to decide how that money is used. Please be aware that nothing is spent unless multiple people agree on it, while we have no formal system of checks and balances all people involved in the decision process are held accountable by their peers.
I hope this money goes to help taking this sport a bit further in Toronto, and i'd like to start by hosting a garage race with a $100.00 Cash prize for 1st place. (more info about that to come soon)

As I am moving to California in December... I don't remember ever attending any meetings to approve this! Has a motion been passed by the Board of Directors?!? Whatever happened to transparency and democracy? I will miss you, Joker.

I'd like to suggest that a significant portion of the funds be allocated towards the server/site fees. According to D0's spreadsheet it costs 180 a month to run things... That's over two grand a year... (yech) Of course you've already had most of this year paid for by Concrete Wave and Bombora and member donations, so... congratulations on being self sufficient!

^^^ I agree with nate. This site does cost real money to run and I LOVE how it is ad free. IMO some of the cheddar should go into this site, otherwise what do we have to build on our community, facebook? Blech...
That's AMAZING news Joker, thanks for putting the revenue sum right out there. What a cool dude. California is damn lucky.
