Well, I don't know who doesn't wear proper equipment, but if anyone is willing, mind showing your scar's so people will wear what they need to?

Here was me, before I bought knee pads, I was waiting on someone to give it to me, but I just was too dam impatient and look what happened.

Seems like my elbows are constantly bleeding and bruised during the summer

On a side note these are just minor bumps bruises, every longboarder lives with road rash.

One of those things that go on the list of "you know you're a longboarder when..."

The more  photos the better, people should take a really good look at to what can happen to you if you make a mistake at 100km/h, but you dont need to be going that fast to do that kind of damage. I met a really awesome dude who did as much damage as i did to his leg and he was only going about 30km/h or so. Its so easy to seriously hurt yourself, you would be really surprised.

I've fallen at 45 and managed to come out without a scrape. I've also fallen at 10 and ended up with a concussion...

some of the worst bails are when you are just cruising and BAM you get wheel bite or hit a pebble the wrong way and your on your ass, if your lucky.
What i'm saying is some of the worst falls happen when your not expecting it, because you aren't expecting it, so even if you are cruising, wear a flipping helmet.

Then again, some of the worst bails also happen when you ARE expecting it, especially in this sport. So i dunno.

oh yeah this is a keeper.... this was 30 mins after i had a little slide on the elbow. then it got infected kids, turned yellow and red, oozed pus and i had to see the nurse at the hospital for cleening, AFTER i cleaned it at home, so after that pain for a couple days, its back to pink... wear sleeves kids.
