Hey all, just got in from trying out my new board from Flood.

Picked up a Landyachts Spud on the excellent and enthusiastic advise of the guy working (Peter? I think, sorry man), and took what time I could getting my balance on it.

I've been looking at getting a board since I moved to Toronto last year, since biking means lugging that beast of mine around, and rollerblading means the annoyance of taking off the blades whenever you want to go in somewhere or hop on the TTC. Finally started seriously looking into a board a few weeks ago, and gave up trying to figure it out myself. So today I went into Flood and spent a bit of time figuring out what I needed.

So, it looks like my next couple weeks are going to consist of falling a lot and loving every minute of it.

Wheelie feet can be badass. When I see you bombing down Mt Royal on a set of blades, naked drinking a up of coffee, then you can says they're for pussies.

That being said, fruitboots are for fools, and skateboarding is way better.
